Northeast Membership Agreements  

Northeast Heating & Cooling offers an annual maintenance plan to ensure that your home comfort system runs smoothly and efficiently, using less energy and saving you money.

Our Northeast membership is designed to provide owners with the peace of mind that their equipment is well cared for, as well as the knowledge that maintenance costs are fixed for the year.

Here are some of the benefits that you’ll receive as a member: 

• Our service fleet is fully stocked and prepared to meet your emergency needs. 
• Northeast membership customers receive priority over non-Northeast membership customers. 
• Proper preventative maintenance helps prevent nuisance problems as they are found and corrected before they cause unnecessary inconvenience and reduce operating efficiency. 
• Performing yearly maintenance increases equipment life span.

 Northeast membership covers: 

1. Routine preventative maintenance carried out on a semi annually basis for combined heating and cooling alone. Standard size and type filters are included. 
2. Receive 10% off service calls throughout the agreement term. 
3. Over time hours nights, weekends, and holidays will be an overtime charge with 10% discount.
4. Receive a loyalty credit towards replacement equipment.

Our Northeast membership agreements do not cover pre-existing conditions, obsolete parts or any parts, labor required to repair equipment damaged by flooding, freezing, fire, customer negligence, vandalism, or acts of God. Northeast Heating & Cooling, INC. will not be responsible for any direct, consequential or incidental damages resulting from equipment failure. 

To qualify for a plan, equipment must be in good working condition and meet state and local code requirements.

Below are specifics on what our air conditioning and heating system tune-ups entail.

Cooling Precision Tune-up

• Check thermostat calibration
• Monitor refrigerant pressure
• Test starting capabilities
• Test safety controls
• Clean and/or replace standard air filter
• Clean and adjust blower components
• Measure for correct air flow
• Tighten electrical connections
• Measure volts and amps
• Lubricate all moving parts
• Clean condensate drains
• Measure temperature difference between supply and return air

Heating Precision Tune-up

• Check thermostat calibration
• Clean and adjust burner assembly
• Clean ignition assembly
• Test starting capabilities
• Examine heat exchanger for damage and corrosion
• Monitor flue draft
• Test safety controls
• Clean and/or replace standard air filters
• Clean and adjust blower components
• Measure for correct air flow
• Tighten electrical connections
• Measure volts and amps
• Lubricate all moving parts
• Clean condensate drains
• Measure temperature difference between supply and return air
• Adjust gas pressure
• Adjust pilot
• Monitor heating cycle.
